Many thanks to the Shangri-La and Real Style Magazine for making this shoot possible.
Simon Duhamel was commissioned to shoot an editorial series for Montreal’s hip Off the Hook clothing store. He proposed an approach based on simple yet stunning light effect. Here’s what Off the Hook had to say about his work:
“In his inaugural photo shoot for OTH, photographer Simon Duhamel displays his skills as he sheds light on a series of outfits inspired by the holiday season. Simon plays a sort of visual hyperbole as the models seem to pop right off of their flawless backdrops, like peeling stickers off a page. In addition, the shoot also pays tribute to Montreal architecture, as the locations are out of this world – like desktop backgrounds from the movie Gattaca. Great work to the whole squad.”

You can view the entire series here.
Summer came to an end in Montreal, but it’s not in the latest Perle issue.
Be sure to grab your copie at Atelier B and take a look at the back cover of this issue.
